Chris Turner Retirement
With pride and sadness Witt UK Group said goodbye to Production Manager Chris Turner, who leaves for a well-earned retirement this month.
Chris will be equally missed for his personality as well as his management skills. Chris boasts a big character and a wealth of experience which he brought to his work, and to the training and mentoring of our continually promising apprentices.
Chris was an avid listener of Wigan Pier music and there was scarcely a vinyl or track he didn’t have in his collection, so much so his house was bulging with his albums and we were under strict instructions from his family not to get him any more. As a parting gift we opted for his second passion – Leeds Rhinos, and gave him some signed memorabilia instead.
We wish him all the best for his plans outside of the factory.
